On The Nature Of Our Greater Reality

You must first of all understand that your own greater reality exists whether you are in flesh or out of it, and that your subjective experience has a far greater scope than the physical brain itself allows.
The blueprints for reality will not be found in the exterior universe. Some other civilizations experimented with a different kind of science than the one with which you are familiar. They met with varying degrees of success in their attempts to understand the nature of reality, and it is true that their overall goals were different than yours. Such people were focusing their consciousnesses in a completely different direction. Your own behavior, customs, sciences, arts, and disciplines are in a way uniquely yours, yet they also provide glimpses into the ways in which various groupings of abilities can be used to probe into the “unknown” reality. The cycle itself as we postulated this concept to you in the last lesson is the life cycle. In the life cycle resides 
the perfect concept which contains all of the elements of the Infinite. The Infinite is Infinite simply because It becomes finite in all things and in all expressions and in all dimensions. The Infinite is the ultimate, the perfect attainment, the realization, the perfection of all things. Within this life cycle are contained all these elements. The Importance Of Emotional Control

Good evening my friends, it is an honor to come before you this evening. It is hoped that we can come together in harmonious accord knowing that we are dealing with what is called opinions gleaned from life. Nowhere is there to be found a concrete, homogeneous, unchangeable condition. We can see that never can we make a statement and be sure this is what it is; and it shall be that way eternally. Let us keep the eyes open, let us keep the ears open, let us use mouth occasionally. My friends, life is a study, but the more emotional opinions we put into it the less we learn.
All over the world in which you live, there are untold thousands and millions of human beings, not only those that are now here, but those that have come many times in the past before – and those that will come in whatever future that lies ahead. It is a great struggling mass, a seething cauldron of worry, worry, worry; blindness, indifference, cruelty, fear, with a little, here and there, of light and understanding flickering in the darkness of it all. There is a widespread legend which has been handed down for many thousands of years which is called The Golden Age. This is said to have been some period in human history when the mass of mankind showed more intelligence than now. This evening I am going to give you some of the translations from Books written during this Golden Age. These show that those who lived then were absolutely superior to us in sciences; and, although our scientists scoff at such an idea, and declare the whole thing mythical, the truth and facts remain. As the Phoenix is pictured rising above the flames of fire; so these cosmic truths will rise above the scoffing ignorants of today. I do not know on what definite lines your Society is working, or how far you have advanced. It is quite questionable whether I know enough about the subject to be of any value to you. All I can do for you is to repeat certain conversations that took place many years ago between a very learned rishi priest and myself. Dr. William F. Koch received his B.A. In 1909, and Ph.D. In 1916 from the University of Michigan. While at the University of Michigan he did his original research on the function of the parathyroid gland. In 1918 Dr. Koch received his M.D. Degree from the Detroit College of Medicine (Wayne State University). From 1910 to 1914 he was an instructor at the University of Michigan. In 1914 he became Professor of Physiology at the Detroit College of Medicine. From 1915 to 1919 he was Pathologist (Active and Honorary) at the Women’s Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. After leaving the Detroit College of Medicine in 1919, Dr. Koch went into the private practice of medicine. Since 1919 he continued with his independent research in the United States, Europe, and in South America. He has published many articles in recognized medical journals and well as authored a number of books on the subject of cancer and immunity.

According to Science magazine, the #2 question that remains in all of science is: “What is the biological basis of consciousness?” Consciousness can be thought of as our mind or awareness; our inner, subjective experience and our sense of being alive. So, Science magazine is asking how a physical body and brain can generate a non-physical mind. I can touch my arm; I can touch my leg; I can touch my head; but I can’t touch my mind. This is known as “the hard problem of consciousness.” No one has figured out how it happens. Banned Books Of The Bible

No-stick (Gnostic) Gospels defined: sacred texts that for some reason didn’t ‘stick’ around for very long, were lost, or eventually banned and made illegal with a little help from Emperor Constantine and the Roman military.
Tis a very long list indeed of hidden, banned, forbidden, censored, condemned, cursed, and even burned books. These writings of the banned, holy scriptures were once used by other versions or branches of Christianity that existed in antiquity before it became illegal for them to assemble in public, copy and, heaven forbid! circulate their alternative gospels within the boundaries of the Roman Empire.
Though much has been forever lost, some of these books of the Other Bible have been rescued from destruction. We owe a great deal of gratitude to those freedom-loving and open-minded Jews, Pacomian monks, Christians and Gnostics in Eastern Europe, Egypt, Ethiopia, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Armenia who risked much to translate and thus preserve many of these Other Books for future generations, for all time to come. In the case of the fifty books of the Nag Hammadi library, there were Coptic parchments removed from a near-by monastery library in Upper Egypt and buried in a large clay storage jar not far from some caves near the Nile. This clay jar ended up being a kind of time capsule that was unearthed one thousand seven hundred years later. (more…)

Taking up our lesson along the pathway toward Truth, we will be assisted tonight by Dr. Charles Pierce and Mme. Blavatsky. Several other wonderful and great minds are here and will be interjecting their mind forces and their intelligences along with the others. Tonight’s lesson deals with reincarnation and with frequency relationship. We have before us here, as you see, some scientific instrumentation with which we are going to explore and we shall thus see before our eyes how energy moves. However, before we do so, we shall establish some sort of continuity between this lesson and the last one.
It is to be assumed by now that we have all begun to form some sort of a definite relationship to the great world of 
Universal energy. It is hoped too, that all of you have established within your minds something of this great Universal God-force which we call energy, in whatever dimension or in whatever form this energy appears, whether it is pure energy which lights and heats our homes or whether it is the energy we see in the (so-called) solid atomic structures, it stems from the one great Infinite Source. We can also say that by now man himself becomes nothing more or less than a conglomerate mass of this energy, whether it is in the physical form of atomic structures or whether it resides in the realm of the psychic self and in the 4th dimension. Once you are able to remember your dreams, you are ready to start programming them to tell you about your past lives. Many people are surprised to discover that programming a dream or getting a dream to answer a particular question is a remarkably easy process. It is also a very ancient practice. In her book Creative Dreaming, psychologist and dream researcher Dr. Patricia Garfield notes that techniques for programming dreams to answer specific questions have been found in Egyptian records dating from 3000 B.C. The ancient Assyrians called the practice istiqara, and among the ancient Greeks it was known as “dream incubation.”
Many modern researchers have also developed methods for “incubating” dreams. Although devoid of the mythological jargon that accompanied ancient techniques, the essence of these techniques remain the same. Resonance Theory of Consciousness

Could consciousness all come down to the way things vibrate?
Why is my awareness here, while yours is over there? Why is the universe split in two for each of us, into a subject and an infinity of objects? How is each of us our own center of experience, receiving information about the rest of the world out there? Why are some things conscious and others apparently not? Is a rat conscious? A gnat? A bacterium?

Here And Hereafter

The whole process of leaving the earth, of dying, is a perfectly natural one. It is merely the operation of a natural law. But for thousands of years the generality of people have lived in entire ignorance of the truth of ‘dying’ and of the ‘hereafter’. And in this, as in so many cases, ignorance, or, lack of knowledge, means fear. It is fear of the future following upon ‘death’ that has surrounded the act of transition with so many mournful and morbid solemnities and doleful trappings.
Sorrow is but natural in human hearts at the parting of loved ones and in their removal from physical sight, but sorrow is aggravated and increased by the lack of knowledge of what precisely has taken place. Orthodox religion is largely responsible for this state of affairs. The one who is mourned has gone to an unknown land where, presumably, an omnipotent God reigns supreme, ready to mete out judgment to all who enter that world. It behooves us, therefore, orthodoxy would urge in effect, that we should do all that we can to placate this Great Judge, that He may deal mercifully with our departed brother. Such a situation, it would be further urged, is no time for anything but the gravest demeanor, the most solemn behavior. (more…)

Spiritual Evolvement

Now we have begun to understand (see prior chapter here) that even in the simplest and most common 
acts of everyday life, there are always some very scientific principles involved which make these acts possible and that these various transmissions have, as has been suggested, very far-reaching and infinite effects. They relate not only to the immediate appearance as they are concerned with the individual but in a sense they also can affect, either inversely or adversely, certain dimensional transmissions which may be hundreds of thousands of years in the past or in the future. It is in these common transmissions of everyday life, in the affiliation of frequency relationships and such common abstractions as resolve themselves into the individual’s constructive evolutionary process which he calls life, which have been the determining elements in what he calls sin or evil, and good. Superior Spiritual Powers, who regulate the affairs of this sphere in which I am placed. I made known to them my good fortune in having discovered you. I described your character; related some of the incidents of your life, and at length gained their assent to make you our medium and agent in the business I have alluded to. I will now give you a sketch of my true worldly career, which will be necessary in order to understand rightly the important narrative that is to follow.”
The spirit gave vent to a deep sigh, and paused for a few minutes, as though he were endeavoring to overcome some violent emotions. At length he said in a saddened tone of voice:
“It is a sad thing, my friend, to confess that which I am about to do.
