Sands of Time

sands-of-time-stanza-oneAnd now the sands of time go trickling down dim corridors of the past
The shadows of the darkened regions of the mind
Become illumined with pure shafts from Eternal’s door.

A God-Like Way

stanza-twoTo he who would God-like become will never wield a sceptor
Nor a heavy crown to wear, nor ermine robes or any of the things which emperors
or kings hold about them in their way of life

To thus become a god, each man must do a godly thing
not wrought from stone or metal rare.

Fount of Life

1-fountainIf thou wouldst drink freely of the fount of life,
Then drink in the fullness and count not the drops,
As thou wouldst count the pearls of a broken strand,
For verily, if ye count these drops,
So shall ye count all of the things which come to ye by numbers,
And by their numbers only shall ye know them.

Eternally Yours

Eternally-Yours-1Last night upon a garden path I walked with Christ
Yet this was not a tall and bearded man of faith I saw
But deep within I  saw another form and molded in the form
Of what I am and even from the stuff of which I’m made

The Inner Portal

portal-stanza-1Fears, ghostly wraiths from untrammeled halls of time, unswept, unclean
By shafts of Light from thine own Illumined Presence
Shineth thou one star and become a part of all the Heavens
Catcheth thou one sunbeam and hold the glorious sun within thy hands
Seeth thou one flower beneath thy feet and the world blooms as a single rose.

Voice of Nature

Voice-of-Nature-1For the Voice of Nature is the Voice of God –
It speaketh through all things into all
times, unto all mankind.
And, as the seasons and the sunshine with
the rain and the thunder through
the Voice of Heaven
Each has its time of coming and going – which
is like the coming of Spring, and the
freshness of the newborn year.

Seek Ye Within

Seek-ye-within-s1Search ye not within the eye of man
whom doth but passeth by;
Neither look within his house nor
seek ye in his storehouse.
Heedeth not his word of tongue, nor
Canst thou find, with passing act,
or one so fraught with fear;
For each and everyone betokes the
thing within himself. (more…)

Image of God

Image-of-God-1-4-postThou shalt not knowest of thy God as any man
Nor of the likeness of any man
Nor shall He cometh amongst ye with the name of man upon His lips
But rather He shall come as all things;
As the blades of grass at thy feet, as the leaves upon the trees,
An thou shalt see His face in every cloud.
