The appearance of mysterious crop circles is not exclusive to recent decades. Some of these formations are so immense and complex as to defy reason and the truth behind them is far more intriguing than we are willing to accept.
“Some of these formations are so immense and complex as to defy reason. And after all, these decades, none of the perpetrators have been caught in the act of making any of the truly extraordinary formations.” – Richard Dolan, historian, academic, author, and one of the world’s leading UFO researchers (source)
Many crops circles have captured the interest of respectable scientists who have demonstrated a great interest in these anomalous formations. Richard Taylor, a physicist at the University of Oregon is one of those scientists, and even published a paper about Crop Circles in the 2011 issue of Physics World, where Professor Taylor stated the following:
Crop circle arts are not going to give up their secrets easily. This summer, unknown artists will venture into the countryside close to your homes and carry out their craft, safe in the knowledge that they are continuing the legacy of the most science-oriented art movement in history. (source)
According to estimates, crop circles appear at least every week somewhere on our planet, and contrary to popular belief, crop circles are not exclusive to recent decades. Reports of mysterious formations in fields have been reported for centuries.
Today, we can acknowledge and say that there is no doubt that crop circles are a real phenomenon since the evidence behind them is overwhelming, the only question that remains is who and what creates them?
Professor Taylor expressed his belief that this formation in Wiltshire was one of the ‘greatest art revolutions in history’ when he published his scientific study of crop circles in the prestigious Journal Nature in 2010.
Based on scientific study, and after he studied the affected crops in his laboratory, Professor Taylor concluded that whoever made the circles must have been using GPS devices, lasers and microwaves in order to create such elaborate designs. Professor Taylor states that the nodes of some of the stalks show evidence of being ‘blasted’ out on one side. The same effect was replicated when researchers used highly localized microwave heating which is what caused the stocks to flop over to one side.
Interestingly, Professor Taylor tells us exactly how these were made but he fails to address the issue as to how ‘pranksters’ came into possession of such advanced technology.
According to historian Greg Jefferys: “The number of circular features that can be reasonably confirmed as crop circles that have been so far found in the survey of the currently available 1945 Google Earth overlay numbers about one dozen. As this survey did not include more than 35% of England and excluded the known crop circle ‘hot spots’ around Wiltshire the findings are consistent with an annual occurrence of around 100 crop circles across the English countryside in 1945. This, combined with a significant body of historic records describing crop circles, gives the lie to the claims made by various to be the originators and creators of all crop circles. This, in turn, begs the question ‘If not them, then who or what is responsible for the creation of crop circles?’” (source)
Jefferys concludes that: “There is a mounting body of evidence that suggests that a rare form of electromagnetic energy called an ionised plasma vortex (generally known as ball lightning) is involved.
“Plasma balls do weird things like passing through solid objects (such as stone walls and glass windows) and floating through the air against the wind. Exactly where this energy comes from and what causes it is not yet understood by science.
“Based on my studies I suspect that the forces involved in the creation of crop circles represent a potentially extraordinary new field of science, a new frontier that could lead to profound discoveries and entirely new technologies.
“Further, I believe that if the mainstream scientific community were not so timid and so conservative in their view of the Universe that they would not be sitting on their hands pretending this thing is not happening but would be seriously investigating this unexplained phenomenon.”
“The patterns of the formations themselves have been studied endlessly. Aside from being supremely beautiful, many seem to be messages in one form or another, often with cosmological implications. None seems ominous or evil. If one receives any sense or feeling from them, it is benevolence. If it were to be the case that these formations are created by an extraterrestrial or non-human intelligence, we may conclude that at least one of the groups here might, in fact, care about us and wish to help us.” – Richard Dolan (source)
