Now that we have objectively analyzed two people who were in very apparent differences in their spiritual evolution, certain of these differences are immediately apparent. In the case of John, he would return to the earth and more or less lead the same vegetative life that he formerly lived in previous lifetimes. He would not, during that lifetime, express any particular psychic equivalents except perhaps an occasional hunch or premonition. The situation with Mary, however, would be quite different. Her life would be primarily guided and motivated in a spiritual way, and through what I have described quite frequently as the influence of the Superconscious Self.
This leads us up to the most important point in this discussion—the development of this Superconscious Self. As has been postulated numerous times, the polarization process is all-important in the development of the Superconscious just as it is with any other aspect of life. In the case of John, he was able to make certain psychic affiliations, I shall say, with the newly-forming fetus within the womb of its mother on the basis of very strong affiliations which could be termed polarizations. That is, the different relatives or other people with whom he was closely associated in previous lifetimes would be the dominant vibrations or wave forms which would guide him into the situation whereby he could be reborn into the world.
On the other hand, Mary was not so strongly motivated. She was able in a more advanced state of spiritual consciousness to more or less prepare herself, in a way, to her advent into the new world whereby she would be able to accomplish one or more very direct purposes, principally, the cancellation of different psychic shocks which she had incurred in other lifetimes, as well as to work out strong polarity affiliations which had been developed over a long period of time with different earth-life personalities and earth-life forms. Therefore, in her spiritual world, after being disembodied from the flesh she would have a certain degree of intelligence something akin to her earth-life consciousness, which was not possessed by John when he found himself in the spiritual world. The reason for the differences in these two conditions is found in the Superconscious Self for it is the Superconscious Self which lives in the spiritual worlds and is an oscillating entity with the spiritual worlds. Therefore, any person who has a more strongly-developed Superconscious Self will correspondingly live more and more in the spiritual worlds, and especially in times of transition when they find themselves minus the physical body.
The development of the Superconscious as it concerns all people in the more elemental stages of evolution is a happenstance situation; that is, they are not consciously motivated to direct any kind of polarizations with the Infinite to form this nucleus or life cell. The situation of polarization is based entirely upon the linkages in harmonic interplays which occur when any material earth person has such moments of temporary transcendency or inspiration, or when he can consciously turn his attention to the creative forces around him, or where he apparently resolves these mysterious forces and interplays of nature into deistic configurations. In this sense then, his religion does serve a useful purpose in the first formative stages of his evolution.
The point to remember always is that in religions, as in the case with all other things, it passes a point of diminished returns, I shall say, wherein it becomes merely a strongly associated symbology, and as such, it can actually retard the progress and evolution of any human who constantly seeks to reinstate it in his consciousness beyond the dominion of its useful purpose. Now the moment any person does, in the spiritual world, begin to ascertain or determine to visualize or in some way to become conscious of the spiritual worlds, there is an immediate increase, a rapid rise in the proportions of inception which takes place within the Superconscious Self. And in this inception, in its combination with the mental portion of the psychic anatomy, the Superconscious then, will in its respective inceptions and introspections, be so polarized in these inceptions in an individual way. That is, by the combination of such elements as are interposed as time, etc., from the physical worlds, these polarizations remain the inviolate property of the person to whom they so occurred or to who was responsible for their propagation. This is the beginning of the more ultimate destiny of personality as it is achieved in that abstract evaluation of an oscillating entity of a highly-developed person who has passed into the higher reaches of the spiritual worlds.
As Mary had begun to function in a more normal or mental manner in the spiritual worlds in her lives in between lives, she was therefore able to introspectively plan an earth life and to make it sort of a campaign. Now when she was born into the world, she would or she would not necessarily remember the spiritual worlds, for here again frequency would determine whether memory consciousness would be so superimposed into the conscious surface of the brain cells. Actually, no person can remember the spiritual worlds except perhaps in a moment of transcendency wherein they can temporarily relink this former passage or again reform himself in a spiritual rapport with the present.
So all in all, these different factors are incorporated in that part of the psychic anatomy known as the Superconscious which, as it does, living in the higher Spiritual dimensions and oscillating with the Spiritual worlds, can proportionately exert influence in a very influential way into the life of a person like Mary. She will thusly be guided or motivated in a manner which may be quite strange or even miraculous to those who are not acquainted with such things. She will, from time to time, have certain psychisms which can be classified as flashbacks into her past, wherein, in the most propitious moments which are linked with cyclic movements in her psychic anatomy, the pernicious and negative influence of these past psychic shocks or events can be suitably discharged. They will, of course, remain as image reflections or polarized elements in the Superconscious as well as in the mental conscious portions of the psychic anatomy. However, from that time they will not have their influential effect or their subversion in the life of the individual.
And so with Mary, while she could more constructively plan an earth-life incarnation, she could, in fact, to some extent actually choose her parents on the basis that such planes or elements in the earth-life dispensations of these two parents would be of some advantage to her, such as has been pointed out in the case of Mozart, the musician and composer, who reincarnated deliberately into a musical atmosphere to further his reincarnation. This is quite typical of some of the patterns followed by people who plan these particular campaigns to work out different karmic conditions which they have incurred in the past, and to further such progress which they have made in teaching centers such as are pictured in the works of UN.AR.I.U.S..
